PrimoPDF is a software specially designed to convert certain file formats into PDF. Once converted, the file can be opened at any time using PDF reader software such as Adobe Reader or Sumatra PDF Reader.
PrimoPDF requires the .NET Framework to work on Windows. Once installed, PrimoPDF will become part of the printer. After that, whenever you want to save a document as a PDF, you just need to select the Print menu and select PrimoPDF from the list of available printers.
- Developer: Nitro PDF Inc
- OS: Windows
- Lisensi: Freeware
- Ukuran: 2.6MB
After selecting PrimoPDF as the printer, a few moments later the main PrimoPDF window will appear where the user can choose one of the four types of PDF quality provided.
Screen Quality offers the smallest file size with the lowest quality, eBooks provide better quality but still compress PDF images, while Print is provided for users who want to print PDFs, and Prepress is the right choice to get the best PDF quality.
In addition, there is also a Custom option that allows users to adjust the quality of the PDF as desired. Each PDF document can be added with information in the form of title, author, subject and keywords. This information can be pasted into the PDF via the Document Properties menu.
This PDF security feature can be saved so that it is always applied automatically every time the user wants to create a PDF.
In the Options menu there are several other options such as automatically rotating PDF pages, determining the PDF resolution, selecting the software to be used to open the PDF after the format conversion process is complete, and determining the action PrimoPDF should take if it finds a PDF file that has the same name when want to save the conversion result.
Another feature that can be found is the option to specify what steps PrimoPDF should take after the PDF is created. The default option is to open the PDF file, besides that users can also choose to send the PDF file via email. The last one is the Do Nothing option so that PrimoPDF does nothing.
