The Canon Pixma MX475 is a very compact device that combines a surprising number of functions. Apart from the mandatory printing function, you can also use multi-function devices to scan, copy, and even send faxes. A highlight for a device of this size is multi-feed for scanning and copying. This makes it possible to copy an entire stack of sheets without having to change templates every time. You can scan 30 sheets at once this way.

Canon Pixma MX475 prints in black and white at a speed of 9.7 pages per minute. Color pages are output at a rate of 5.5 pages per minute. The printer takes about 70 seconds for a borderless photo measuring 10 by 15 centimeters.

Thanks to the integrated WLAN, there is no more need to connect the printer to the computer with cables. All you have to do is connect the printer to your existing wireless router. This allows all computers on the home network to have access to print and scan functions. With the right app, you can even print directly from your smartphone or tablet if needed. However, to send faxes without problems, you still need to have a cable connection to your phone system. If you don't have a WLAN or don't want to use this interface, you can connect the printer to the computer in the conventional way via USB 2.0.
